My docs office usually throws away the casts once they're off but this one, I got to keep! The surgical one was so thick and had so much gauze and fiber that it took awhile to saw through and when it did come off, it was in multiple "chunks". I really wanted to keep this cast so I asked if they could cut it off such that I could take it with me.
