I have decided to make one of my favorite Grumps, Arin is perhaps my favorite of all the Grumps, I like Dan too (though I don't have the pieces for him), but of course I love this guy because he's funny and he's the OG Grump founder, definitely goes with Jon (even though my Jontron is yellow skinned, but I'll get around to that). This was pretty simple, I think somebody else also used that Star-Lord Head to make him and it was absolutely perfect, I of course edited the original version of the head because it looks more accurate to his facial features.
So if you've known me for a while, I'm not really a fan of Steven Universe, there are a few things I guess I like, but I'm mostly not a fan, one of the few characters I like is character that I barely know about bit only like because she looks cool, I know that she's a midget (another use for the Mid Size Legs), she was a villain for a while, and theres some memes with her holding some iPad and wanting people to die. I've completely sculpted ther helmet thing and the boot attachments, I was going to try and come up with arm attachments too, but they were becoming too complicated.
So I decided to make this version of Lex because I think he looks really cool, I slightly changed up his design a little to make him look a little better.
So I discovered this new Cartoon Network hero (or I now, Nickelodeon, I think, I'm not sure what's happening), there are some things about the show I like, and some things I don't like, I don't want to talk too much about it, let's just say I wouldn't consider this to be one of my favorite shows, but it's not bad. Basically I've made this guy because I love his design as a character, and I love how the figure turned out, it seems pretty accurate to how he would look.
This was definitely a character I've wanted to make for a while, I remember watching this show when it came out, there was a lot that I liked about it, it was the first show I discovered that introduced me to the concept of a show where the villain is the main character, I'd then discover shows like Invader Zim, Evil Con Carne, Dick Dasterdly, Pinky and the Brain, and one of my new favorites, Villainous. I remembered going to their website and I'd try and make my own villain, I couldn't do that because I needed a membership and I didn't understand the concept of that at the time, and now I'm pretty sure it's long gone. So the figure itself was fairly simple, I was originally going to scult the head, but then I had an extra bug headpiece that I realized fit pretty well, and I think he turned out pretty well.
I was finally able to make the last of the main 4 cast in Villainous, I'm hoping to make a few other characters from the shorts, and the new show that's coming. I managed to get a Lotso figure from Bricklink, I shaved off certain parts and covered up other parts to make his face and body details look more accurate, I even managed to figure out a way to put that flower on his head, I think this whole figure went great!
As defenders of the Candy Kingdom these enormous machines are distinct for their glass dome heads, ice cream cone hats, and being tall enough to easily step over the walls within the Candy Castle. Joined by police chief of the Banana Guards, Captain Root Beer Guy, these stalwart servants are the primary protectors of the Candy Kingdom. All three have the sole purpose of defeating the Candy Kingdom’s enemies, and protecting its citizens and sovereignty. All three would sacrifice their lives to this important cause if destined to, and have done so before.

This was actually made for a while, but I didn't know his name and I didn't want to put "The Main Male Protagonist", or a similar title fir his wife, fortunately I found out their names so that saved me from trying to come up with something else. This was rather simple to make, however I'm upset that now it's on HBO Max and not on TBS because I was looking foward to another show to watch on TV, and also I don't want to keep paying for more streaming services, I already have Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. I do however look foward to making more characters from the show though, I already have one other character made, and another character planned next.

BACKSTORY: Got up around 7:15AM, made it out driving by 7:51 AM and went out until around 1:30PM for a totalof 5 hours, 39 minutes. Spent $73.00 plus ~$7.98 gas for 41 miles of driving (15.1 mpg @ $2.94/G), for a total cost of $80.98. We drove to 64 yard sales, stopping at 22 (34%) of them. We made 49 purchases (50 items) for a total estimated value of $743.64, leading to a profit/savings of $662.66. So in essence, we multiplied our $80.98 investment by 9.18X. (Also, if you think about it, the profit counts for even more when you consider that we have to earn $~755 on the job, pre-tax, in order to take home the $662 in cash that we saved. How long does $662 of disposable income take to earn, vs the 5.65 hrs we spent here?) Anyway, this works out to a *post-tax* "wage" of $117.29/hr as a couple or $58.64/hr per person.
