STATION ID BUMPERS FOR THE CARTOON NETWORK.
We're super proud to have been approached and commissioned by The Cartoon Network for this super fun project. We presented a bunch of concepts for the good folks at the Cartoon Network back in May and they picked these two concepts, T-Bone and Graffiti Writer A.
We were one of the few artists from around the world that the Cartoon Network approached for this one of a kind station ID animation project. We picked the Letters A and T out of their name.
The project took over 2 months to complete between concept scripts to final production. This was definitely one of our most favourite projects of the year. Both the Creative Director and Executive Producer at the Cartoon Network gave us complete creative reign and at one point, we were even asked to make our concept even more quirky and weird. We definitely don't come across clients as awesome as they are.
Special thanks to the one and only Chris Nielsen for all his help and love.
We love you too man.

"More details on "Fired" by Eric LaCombe: 'I've been part of the team promoting Regular Show on Cartoon Network from the very beginning of the series and pretty much reached instant fanboy status as I watched a giant floating 8-Bit devil head wipe out the park. Benson has always been one of my favorite characters - his rage just seems so... genuine. So I decided to put my fine art degree to use for once and illustrate my take on his Mordecai and Rigby triggered meltdown from the "Think Positive" episode. I also like cats. -Eric LaCombe'"
The Adventure Time Lego set 21308 didn't include Lemongrab and I thought that was unacceptable, so I made my own... Legograb. I tried to mimic the style of the original figures in the set.
sewing on the jowls
12. Sew the mouth down first, then the jowls, then the eyes. I did the nose last. On the jowls, you can see that I sewed most of the way along the bottom and top, but not the entire way. This is to give the piece more dimension. I also put a tiny bit of stuffing up inside the "bridge of the nose" when I was entirely done with sewing. Both are totally optional.
