Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to present a screencap of the Young Empress, from the two-part Emmy Award-Winning Samurai Jack Episode "The Birth of Evil" (and hopefully the physical model for Princess Mêi’Kēiko Taiyâni of Shangara, the beautiful and lovely sister to Prince Tshâi’hīko Taiyâni, as well as the eldest birth-sister to Lee Lee, an Asian friend of Dexter's sister DeeDee (and exiled daughter of a king of Shangara), and one of the characters to be included in The Dexter's Odyssey Saga, which is my planned multi-part big screen big budget live action/animated dinosaur-infused epic blockbuster reboot of the 1990s cartoon Dexter's Laboratory).

Based on the Cartoon Networks animated series. These are Infernites, Flain, Vulk and Zorch.

On Saturday, October 17, Alamo Drafthouse and Cartoon Network hosted a special screening of REGULAR SHOW: THE MOVIE featuring a post-film Q&A with creator JG Quintell and voice actors William Salyers (Rigby) and Sam Marin (Pops, Benson and Muscle Man) exclusively to Alamo Drafthouse Victory members.

JG and company were in person at our Austin location, and the entire event was live streamed to Alamo Drafthouse locations in Ashburn, Virginia; Houston and Richardson, Texas; Littleton, Colorado; and Yonkers, New York.

Guests at all locations were be able to submit questions to JG and the gang via Twitter and everyone received a REGULAR SHOW poster of their very own to take home!

Pure White Shadow Cosplay as Wirt and Gregory from "Over the Garden Wall." There were a few of these guys around, but these guys had Beatrice, Greg's frog, and the Rock Fact.

Plus, Gregory made sure to be carrying candy camouflage in her satchel. Scored a green apple Jolly Rancher, which was awesome.

The reason why there was almost no coverage of the "Adventure Time" Panel at New York Comic Con 2013. This was about 15 minutes before the panel was set to begin, and this was by far not the end of the line.

Materials: pattern, fabric scissors, felt colors (red not shown)

TOOLS: Starred items are optional but helpful :)

Pattern printou

tScissors (nice and sharp! It's a good idea to have separate scissors for paper and fabric.)

Small scissors: for cutting details*

Straight pins

Stuffing (lots of different kinds out there, they'll all do the trick.)

Tweezers or small locking forceps* (not too pointy is best): to make stuffing easier

Hole punch* (for Finn's eyes)

Fabri-Tac glue*: to hold pieces in place while they're being sewn

MATERIALS:

Felt:

For Finn: white, black, red

For Jake: mustard yellow (something between orange and yellow), white, black, red(

Note about felt: I use wool or wool/acrylic blend felt for details, and acrylic for large pieces. Wool comes in fewer colors and the white is generally more cream, but it's thicker and denser so it's easier to cut precisely.)

Ribbon or yarn: for making hanging loop

Thread:

For Finn: white, black, red

For Jake: yellow/orange/mustard, white, black, red

1. Gather up all your materials. It's best to do this first so you don't have to run around later! You need a clear space too since you'll be working with some very small bits.

2. Print out the pattern and identify your pattern pieces. You don't have to use the highest quality setting, you'll be cutting it up anyway. The pictures of Finn and Jake at the top are for reference, so you know where each piece goes. Below that is the exact same image, broken up into each piece you need to cut out. If the piece says x2 on it, you'll need to cut it twice. If it says nothing, you only need one.

3. Cut out the pattern pieces you need, as precisely as you can. You should cut on the outside of the gray line, both when cutting out the pattern, and the fabric. Pin larger pieces to your fabric if you like. It doesn't work well on small pieces, though. These you can just hold in place by pinching between your thumb and index finger of the hand you're not using to cut.

(pattern hadn't been sized properly when I printed mine, fear not, I fixed it)

And plus my Monster High bag too.. but that's not Cartoon Network! :D

The line for the "Adventure Time" panel, continued. The line stretched all the way to the food court.

Little did the Cartoon Channel Float know that it was about to be eaten by Barney.

Hey, go read my writeup of the Adventure Time panel to find out who these totally mathematical people are and what they were doing.

Louis loves Ben 10 (it has to be said in that special voice - 'beirn teirn'). He loves anything to do with it, maybe bordering on obsessed - and got a few related bits for Crimbo. ¡Mean Mummy Alert! I've never let him watch it, I've told him he's not allowed until he's five - Power Rangers too! He accepts that and for now I try to keep him as innocent as I can with Peppa Pig and Special Agent Oso.

He did see the advert for the Ben 10 Mouthoff ad on the tele, and asked Jack if he could "have that phone" in a desperate tone. I thought it looked rather cool myself, so obliged and paid the £1.19. It's been worth it for the fun we've had with it! When you click on the app, beirn teirn's watch comes up, you twist the top, choosing the alien you want to be, and their mouth appears. When you talk, their mouth opens - the louder you are, the wider their mouth opens... pretty clever stuff. Louis has to do it in front of the mirror, of course, to get the full on pleasure from it, but this is money well spent!
