This is why you shouldn't try to peel off your carpool sticker from your bumper. Kind of ruins the effect.
This is weird on several levels. First, what was wrong with the first sign? it was a little old, but not bad.
There's something that looks a little tacky about covering up a sign with a smaller version of the same sign. Maybe it's that "SOUTH" is blue.
And finally: that diamond should be an ExpressPass logo. When the original sign was first installed, that was a carpool-only lane. It was converted to a HOV/toll lane maybe 10 years ago.

Mississauga Carpool Lot Being Rebuilt and Expanded With Connection To Westbound On Ramp To The 401,
We met this morning at the Lao's to carpool to Yosemite - we decided to squeeze the 9 of us into 2 pick-up trucks. Sounds tight, but there was actually decent space. The drive north to Yosemite was rather uneventful. That is, until we drove through the Tunnel into Yosemite Valley and noticed that Half Dome looked ominously dark, obscured by dense clouds above. Sure enough, 5 minutes later, it started raining. Then, it started pouring! What was this? Thunderstorms were only forecast at 20% and were supposed to arrive late - not at 4:30!
Soon we realized that all our stuff was getting wet in the open beds behind us. Remembering that I brought my tarp and that it was in our truck, we pulled off to the side to hastily cover our gear. Then we continued on our way to North Pines through some bumper-to-bumper traffic. By the time we turned into the campground, the rain had stopped. But the rain left behind some massive ponds, many of which had engulfed unsuspecting tents. Uh oh! Can't wait to see our site! What a way to begin the trip!
All in all, it worked out just fine. We set up my tarp (15'x20' was thankfully quite large!) with the help of some string, trekking poles, and Shannon's height =).
