On a really cold and rainy Bank Holiday at a county show. This steam powered roundabout/ carousel/merry go round was well worth the wait especially as we found horses called Alice and Emily which suited our girls fine as they saw them as personalised. Used the Blackberry, and I like the result.

The carousel is designed to be handicapped accessible. Parents of small children get to ride for free. A single ride is $3.

I love these old fashioned roundabout with the wooden horses, and so did Sam as she giggled and shrieked her approval for the whole ride.

I got it falling off my horse during the world equestrian championship! Really!! No, really... this very horse!!! (Or wait... maybe I was at soccer practice. Hard to remember sometimes.)

Kids on the carousel.

No school for two weeks! Back now however until the summer holidays which are nine weeks away.

This is so pretty. Lots of detail to it too, including little diamantes at the top of each pole.
