12. Sound

I tried to put the little mechanical bandleader into focus as the rest of the carousel moved. I thought he symbolized the sound of the carousel, as well as the laughing children on the ride.

Photoshop edits:

I cropped the gate out of the photo, taking care to maintain the bandleader as the center focus. I used the Magnetic Lasso tool to select some of the areas with too much light and reduced the brightness. I also used the Magnetic Lasso tool to adjust the brightness and contrast of the bandleader.

We went into the city centre so that the girls could spend some of their christmas money. The carousel is still outside John Lewis, so the girls had a go. It was nice to get out, although I was shattered after a few hours.

This carousel was Hand-carved in 1895. This attraction features 54 animals and two horse-drawn chariots.

daniel wouldn't ride it with me, so i had to take pictures like a toolbag instead

The joy of this carousel ride is starting to wear off. I guess that's likely to happen with a ride that is 25 minutes long.
