The carousel under our Christmas tree. Taken with Sony RX100IV #vscocam
Workflow: I snapped the photo this morning, transferred it in seconds via touching my android phone on the camera's side (NFC), applied VSCO filters and uploaded to social media.
Spent most of the time writing this post. Figures.

Herschell-Spillman Carousel, Balboa Park, San Diego, California. Built originally in 1910 for Luna Park in Los Angeles. It has a menagerie of hand carved wooden animals, all original, except for two small ponies, the original hand-painted murals surrounding the upper portion of the carousel, and the original military band music. The antique Carousel was purchased from the Excelsior Amusement Park which operated it for five decades in the city of Excelsior, just west of Minneapolis. It was hand-built by the Philadelphia Toboggan Company in 1924. It is a classic example of the hand-carved artistry of American carousel builders.
