Ordenando unos bocetos de hace algunos años, encontré algunos dibujos que en su momento habÃa planteado para un posible mini deportivo con base Peugeot, y que habÃan quedado abandonados.
Retomando esos bocetos, surge esta coupé, cuyas lÃneas ponen énfasis en una reducción de la carrocerÃa a los volúmenes mÃnimos necesarios, no sólo en pos de resultados aerodinámicos, sino también estéticos, en la búsqueda de una lÃnea lo más liviana posible que a la vez de la sensación de fuerte apoyo en el suelo (Tal como sucedÃa en los Fórmula de la época del efecto suelo).
El motor ideal serÃa un bóxer central-trasero. Su reducida altura lo harÃa ideal para este tipo de coupé.
Las dimensiones aproximadas son 4200 mm. de largo y 1200 mm. de alto.

In the mid-1930s car design changed from the traditional four-square styling the vicar would have approved of to streamlining.
Designing a true 1:8 scale Technic muscle car is all about capturing every line, curve, and proportion of the real machine with precision. These overlay comparison photos really show how closely the model follows the aggressive body shape and stance of the Dodge Challenger from every angle. From the subtle narrowing of the front fascia to the wider muscular rear haunches, every detail has been carefully scaled and replicated. Matching the proportions of a real car in Technic form is one of the biggest challenges, especially while maintaining structural strength and functionality throughout the build. The attention to detail in the wheelbase, roofline, and body taper helps bring the same road presence and attitude as the real Challenger. Seeing the blueprint-style comparisons side by side really highlights just how accurate this massive Technic model has become.

BMW's Vision Efficient Dynamics concept shown in Frankfurt really moved the game on in this area. Not only do the surfaces sit away from the primary structure, which creates the impression that they are 'floating', but they are twisted and fold back on themselves in a manner typically not possible with pressed steel panels. BMW claim that their positioning, and the channels created between the surfaces, are used to control the flow of air over the body. Aero challenges are clearly one of the driving forces behind this trend, and here it creates a dramatic new surface language.
