Il Master TAD in Transportation & Automobile Design apre le porte al pubblico per una giornata di presentazione all'insegna del Car Design: visita ai laboratori e all'area di clay modeling della Scuola del Design del Politecnico di Milano e presentazione dei progetti realizzati per Audi, Bugatti, Porsche e Volkswagen.

Ordenando unos bocetos de hace algunos años, encontré algunos dibujos que en su momento había planteado para un posible mini deportivo con base Peugeot, y que habían quedado abandonados.
Retomando esos bocetos, surge esta coupé, cuyas líneas ponen énfasis en una reducción de la carrocería a los volúmenes mínimos necesarios, no sólo en pos de resultados aerodinámicos, sino también estéticos, en la búsqueda de una línea lo más liviana posible que a la vez de la sensación de fuerte apoyo en el suelo (Tal como sucedía en los Fórmula de la época del efecto suelo).
El motor ideal sería un bóxer central-trasero. Su reducida altura lo haría ideal para este tipo de coupé.
Las dimensiones aproximadas son 4200 mm. de largo y 1200 mm. de alto.

We were visiting the Naarden Photo Festival, and suddenly I discovered some twenty old Lancias on a car-park. Our visit happend to coincide with a club meeting of the Dutch Lancia Club, I guess. That was a lucky one!

The Vauxhall Velox and Wyvern models were first introduced in 1948; in 1951 both models, based on the same platform, were given a longer, wider body (known as the EIP/EIX type) and it is these variants shown here in this small, folding leaflet. As well as extolling the features of both models - comfort and roominess - the leaflet gives the prices; the Velox, the model with the larger engine, coming in at £515 (plus £287 12s 3 Purchase Tax) and the Wyvern with its smaller engine at £475 (plus £265 7s 9d PT). The leaflet is dated by print code to August 1951, the month the new cars were launched.
The cover artwork, in a very '40s style, is by Noël McVeigh who was commissioned by several motor car and component manufacturers for advertising material. Oddly the leaflet states "entirely new"; whereas the body was on both models they initially retained older engine designs, both being updated within a few months in 1952.
