In November 2004 the Designers at VOLVO Design Studio in Gothenburg, Sweden had an afternoon 'playtime' in which to create some unique AUTO-ART.
The venue was Roda Sten, under the Alfsborg bridge in Gothenburg, and there were 5 teams of designers, armed only with spray cans and their imaginations, working on 5 ex VOLVO Test vehicles for the event.
The results were all unique in many ways, and included an X'mas'C90, and a V50 which was driven back & forth in front of the team of designer, to create a 'Speed Graffiti'

POLI.design e il Master TAD in Transportation & Automobile Design presentano un’intensa giornata interamente dedicata al Car Design in occasione della chiusura della VII edizione del Master.
Evento di spicco della giornata, il seminario didattico dal titolo "CAR Feminine Noun" a cura delle Car Designer Ann Catherine Lang (Industrial Design, Munich, Audi design Konzern), Seulah Park (Exterior Design, Ingolstadt, Audi design) e Rosalie Schrader (Colour & Trim, Ingolstadt, Audi design).
A seguire, la Graduation Ceremony con la proclamazione dei diplomati del Master appena concluso e l’inaugurazione della mostra "TAD Master Showcase 2016" con i lavori realizzati dagli studenti nel corso del Master.

"Ecodynamics. Aerodynamics for sustainability": in mostra per un mese i progetti degli studenti dell'ottava edizione del Master in Transportation & Automobile Design, svolto in collaborazione con Volkswagen Group.
Il tema progettuale assegnato dai designer di Volkswagen Group è stato "Vetture eco-dinamiche" con un focus sul brand Audi.
In Jan. 2011 I had sold my old 305 SR to be exported to Egypt, to join countless fellow 305 breaks. But for political reasons this trip was cancelled. Finally this 305 Break ended on a car scrap yard!

One of the very first produced 404.
It has been parked at several places in the Western harbour destrict for almost a decade! Meanwhile it is in a very bad condition (e.g. MOT has been expired since Febr. 2000, and the hole interior is a mess).
It has been photographed seceral times by other Dutch catspotters, but I think it's still worthwile showing it to you.

these concept design sketches by Steve Harper from June 1986 were used to create the Bentley Turbo of 1988, which invigorated the BENTLEY Brand, as the sporting Gentleman's car of choice.
"swim fly live die" was a design concept form study by Steve Harper in October 1999. Produced for a local Art Exhibition, it visualised a mythical craft which could be used to transport the soul of a dying person, and enable it to do many of the things it may have never had chance to do during their life ... swim with the dolphins, fly with the eagles, live life to the extremes, and then finally die fulfilled & contented
created in January 1992, these sketches by Steve Harper were for a unique Customer specialist version of the Bentley Continental, but as a 4 door 'Shooting Break', complete with underfloor storage for a pair of Purdey shotguns.

"Autonomous Cars for Inner & Inter City"
In mostra i progetti degli studenti della VII edizione del Master in Transportation & Automobile Design
Per la settima edizione del Master TAD il tema progettuale, assegnato dai designer di Volkswagen Group, è stato "Automobili a Guida Autonoma per i Collegamenti Inner & Inter City" da sviluppare con riferimento ai marchi Audi e Volkswagen. Il tema, oltre che molto attuale, è particolarmente interessante perché consente una progettazione degli spazi interni del veicolo senza molte delle limitazioni connaturate al posto guida tradizionale e apre la fruizione del veicolo a categorie di utenti altrimenti escluse.
