Black and yellow garden spider..got very feisty with me as I kept "getting in his face" causing me to squeal and jump at one point as he hurriedly scurried across his web!!
These large, blue butterflies are very elusive. To capture the shiny blue of their wings you have to snap them in flight, but they move very fast and erratically to avoid predation.
Visitors to Late Shift Extra: Salon de Lumière explored film photography with a classic Lomography camera in our Captured on Camera workshops. They shot with 35mm film to create fantastic multiple exposures.
I am obsessed about capturing every space that I am in. Also I do capture performances or spaces on request for a project. I upload the best of the captures on to FLICKR. From these I select a few to write my blogs about the experience, introspection, learning etc. I also use for executing projects in education, performing arts etc.
I create an annual calendar as a tribute to Indian dance and music
So these select captures showcase the broad perspective and spectrum.

A 2010 Winter Olympics torch relay runner turning the corner of 2nd Street and 8th Avenue NE, Tuesday, January 19th.
I happen to notice a Jumping Spider on one of our Zinnia flower feeding on a Fiery Skipper Butterfly that it captured. The Spider must be quick because those Fiery Skippers are fast fliers.
