Visit to Chatham Maritime Marina to see the Ex Admiralty Victualling (Supply Vessel) VIC 96. She was built for the Navy with economy in mind by Dunston of Thorne in South Yorkshire in May 1945. The VICs were built for the Navy (in order to service the fleet) on a design based on the Clyde Puffers. Steam played a significant part in our maritime history and VIC 96 is one of but a few surviving workhorses of its day, built as part of the war effort to supply Naval dockyards and the Fleet. VIC 96 has been fully restored by volunteers at The Vic 96 Trust. Also moored at Chatham are the Steam Tugs Barking, Kent, Steadfast and the MT Fearnought.
Continuing on to St Mary's Island to capture the Light Ships of Port Werburgh and the PS John H Amos.
The John H Amos was the last paddle tug built in Great Britain for civilian owners, and is the last survivor. A maximum speed of 11 knots was achieved and she had a certificate for 130 passengers. The Medway Maritime Trust continues to explore options for her future.

All self made, worn and shot. Working more with leather, I wanted to make a more appealing animal/petplay style mask. The pattern for the ears I am particularly happy with. The mouthpiece is very secure and works quite well.

I am obsessed about capturing every space that I am in. Also I do capture performances or spaces on request for a project. I upload the best of the captures on to FLICKR. From these I select a few to write my blogs about the experience, introspection, learning etc. I also use for executing projects in education, performing arts etc.
I create an annual calendar as a tribute to Indian dance and music
