I am obsessed about capturing every space that I am in. Also I do capture performances or spaces on request for a project. I upload the best of the captures on to FLICKR. Capturing nature's scenic views in a crystal ball. This was around the tidepools of Pacific Grove, CA. Why was I here? This was during me and my parents' outing around Monterey, including Pacific Grove and Carmel. I was treating them out for this outing. It was actually in celebration of my mom’s (early) birthday. I always love going here as well and it’s been forever since we’ve traveled so it was perfect to go on this outing…
*Our outing in summary: We first went to Monterey’s Cannery Row to take in the sights as well as eat our late lunch at The Fish Hopper restaurant. The views by the sea were just beautiful while we enjoyed our meal. After a couple hours or so, we drove to Pacific Grove to breathe in the fresh sea breeze and enjoy the wonderful ocean views and tidepools there. It wasn’t that cold out, though it was a bit on the breezy side. After around an hour and a half enjoying the views, we then headed to our hotel (Embassy Suites) in Seaside, CA. We were on the 2nd story on the corner, literally by the intersection side so people can see us as they drove by lol. For dinner, I enjoyed their yummy garlic fries and green chicken quesadilla, which was the end of our first day here (Friday, ‎October ‎3, ‎2025). The very next morning of Saturday, ‎October ‎4, ‎2025, after having our delicious continental breakfast (mine was brought to the room since I slept in lol), we checked out and drove to Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA to take in last-minute ocean views. The weather was beautiful and pleasant out. It was rather crowded as well, so we were lucky to even get a parking spot here. Once we were satisfied, we went to eat our late lunch or early dinner at Old Fisherman’s Grotto back in Monterey, CA at Old Fisherman's Wharf. I got their penne pasta alfredo plate. We also finally celebrated my mom’s early birthday with a slice of cake and a candle. Our server, Julius, even gave my mom a rose (and was also kind enough to give us clam chowder for free)! Once our stomachs were full, we then called it a trip and began our journey home. The fog was already rolling in at the time so no sunset this time… What a nice brief outing I had with my parents in celebration of my mom’s early birthday! Til next time, safe travels!

Just thinking SUMMER today as the temps have reached the 40's. I have been busy posting photo's to TPT's "Capture MN" contest, it has been great fun but time to get going. These are a few of my entries.
