This sculpture and museum is on the exact spot where Mandela was captured and arrested by the authorities in August 1962 before he was incarcerated.

The metal strips of the sculpture called "Release" slowly morph into Mandela's face as you approach closer and closer. It is brilliant, evocative, and loaded with symbolism. Dramatic!
