we wonder why black and white photos capture our soul.
I think it's because without color,
we aren't drawn to the makeup and color of our eyes,
or our hair,
or how tan our skin is.
black and white captures the innocence on one's face
and the hurt they've gone through to feel vulnerability.
the glow we see comes from inside,
brightening our eyes,
our skin, and our smile.

By artist Torhild Storvik Malmedal. This sculpture park features ten monumental sculptures in marble and glass, is situated by Nidarosdomen in Trondheim and was opened on November 29 2015 accompagnied by music and dance.
I am obsessed about capturing every space that I am in. Also I do capture performances or spaces on request for a project. I upload the best of the captures on to FLICKR. From these I select a few to write my blogs about the experience, introspection, learning etc. I also use for executing projects in education, performing arts etc.
I create an annual calendar as a tribute to Indian dance and music
So these select captures showcase the broad perspective and spectrum.

She had been taking pictures of her children from behind with the sea in their background for quite some time. Then she moved closer to click the birds on the rocks. I framed the scene and thought it looked good.
Captured Driftwood
Taken at Port Issac, concreted into the side of the road. The reason for it must be decorative as it cannot have any practrical use - but it looks good all the same!
