Elephant Begger captured at Udawallawe National Park. These animals are sadly seen begging for food from the public who pass by who sadly encourage and feed them.
They should be out there in the reserve feeding and fending for themselves yet out of laziness they approach as far near as possible to the electric fence and just aimlessly stand there knowing that some poor soul would throw food across the fence out of emotion.
We should not encourage this in future.
