Larosterna inca – Juvenile

A few months ago our local news paper ran a photography contest for the compilation of a book called Capture Kentuckiana. I submitted several photos and ended up getting the cover of the book plus five other photos in the book.

This is a collage of the cover and all the pages I'm on.

Capturing the image

'Captured' from the Xbox 360 computer game 'Fable 2' on my Casio Exilim.

The in-game world is called Albion and its landscapes veer from dark and brooding to the 'olde English' type scene above.

Me I try to capture moments in time that can be remembered. So I wait and sometimes my best friend and gorgeous gal never fails to impress me by trying to capture where the Earth ends and where Heaven begins. Being on this building we will never be closer.

In a pinch... an iPad will do

A test train runs on the Western Ring Railway in south China's island province Hainan, Dec. 29, 2015. The 345-km Western Ring Railway in Hainan will be put into operation on Dec. 30, completing the world's first high-speed train line circling an island. The western stretch, with a designed speed of 200 km per hour, has 16 stops in six cities and counties, linking provincial capital Haikou with Sanya, a tropical tourist spot. With a land area of 35,400 square km, Hainan is slightly larger than Belgium. A popular destination for beach lovers, it is expected to receive 47 million visitors this year.

With a newly completed high-speed railway track in the southern Hainan Province, China now has 19,000 kilometers of high-speed rail.

Once the crowd spread out, people were able to get on their bikes and begin riding. There are two small observation pull-offs on the bridge.
