The Bearded Guy: Punishment Backdrop

This capture is a stolen shot in the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line, when I was visiting Japan beginning April 2014 for Cherry Blossom season.
The Japanese lady waiting for the ned train is wearing a traditional suit "Kimono" and a mask. I took this opportunity to get her as my static foreground when the train enter in the station. I shot with a slow shutter speed allowing to get the train in movement but not too slow to get the lady sharp. By chance, the door of the train is captured in the frame of the picture. At last, I got the perfect contrast between tradition / static / monochrome / verticality on one side and modernity / movement / colors / horizontality on the other side. It comes to be a picturesque scenery representing in some ways Japan by itself.

Putting precious moments on a chip or a disk and forgetting about them until years later
At least - hopefully they aren't hidden forever....

How young we were
How happy we were
I was so in love with you"

Halftime, "entretiempo", in Spanish means fall, autumn.
For a long time I have been trying to capture a shot here that I actually liked, but this time it finally paid off. It was such a peaceful and quiet morning to spend worshipping with the Lord and connect with a really close friend. All in all, I would call it a really good day.

La font de Canaletes, La Rambla, Barcelona.
Canaletes Fountain, La Rambla, Barcelona.
IN ENGLISH:
A symbol of the city and a meeting place where many visitors stop every day for a drink of water. Legend says that anyone who drinks from the fountain of Canaletes will fall in love with Barcelona and return to the city time and time again. In the centre of the picture you see the coat of arms of the City of Barcelona.

WHAT IS THE RAMBLA
WIKIPEDIA:

Do you think perhaps in my lifetime there will come a time when we quit seeing Barns??
I hope not....but just in case ..here is a moment in time captured.
LARGER if you like!!!
No use of filters in this shot, just f/16 with 3 bracketed exposures, nothing i like better is to come down to this wonderful place as the tide was coming in, i know i have shot this loads of times but i'm just capturing an image with some nice movement, the light was also fading fast hence the under exposed shot at f/16 was about 4 seconds, giving that foreground just enough movement, i think the same shot taken with 1 normal exposure would not give you the same effect, it really is worth while practicing these type of seascape images, you never know what you might achieve

This is an old Bascule Light.
"In 1705 the Danish postal service established a bascule light on the island of Bågø in the Little Belt on the mail route Assens-Årøsund." (wikipedia)
My photo is showing a replica light built at Verdens Ende, Norway.
It is located on the southernmost tip of Tjøme, an island on the west side of the entrance to Oslofjord.
