Ah the amazing Cappadocia, I finally made it there. Of course you absolutely must go on an obligatory hot air balloon ride. It truly is the only way to see this spectacle.

This region of Cappadocia has these peculiar geological formations with a phallic structure, and appropriately, it is called love valley. According to Wikipedia, "Love Valley’s iconic pillars were formed over thousands of years through volcanic activity and erosion. The soft tuff rock, capped by harder basalt, created these remarkable natural sculptures."

 

This area looks spectacular at dawn when the hot air balloons can also be seen in the sky.
