Timor-Leste – Digital security capacity building, Dili, 15-18 September 2025
[Day 1]
Organized by the Secretariat of State for Equality and UN Women, a workshop for government stakeholders focused on strengthening gender equality, peace and cybersecurity in Timor-Leste. A second workshop with civil society organizations and journalists centred on strengthening the digital security and cyber resilience of gender equality and women’s rights advocates.
This was supported by the Australian Government’s Cyber and Critical Technology Cooperation Programme as part of UN Women’s Regional Framework Towards Peaceful, Inclusive Societies in Asia and the Pacific.

The Capacity Building Series for Civil Society delved into core areas of community support mechanisms. Issues of gender based violence mitigation, trauma informed care and vicarious trauma response mechanisms were the focus.
First-aid Capacity Building Training Workshop was arranged by Alkhidmat Foundation chapter Peshawar for the volunteers in Peshawar.
A workshop on First-aid and Basic Life Support is underway at the Lahore Head Office of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan.
La Universidad San Francisco de Quito USFQ fue sede de la jornada internacional de trabajo del proyecto EmpSOCIAL, una iniciativa financiada por la Unión Europea en el marco del programa ERASMUS+ Capacity Building for Higher Education.
Durante este encuentro, representantes de las universidades socias del consorcio se reunieron para establecer las bases metodológicas, académicas y administrativas del proyecto, que tendrá una duración de tres años. El evento combinó sesiones de trabajo, clases académicas, recorridos institucionales y actividades culturales, promoviendo el intercambio de conocimientos y buenas prácticas entre instituciones de educación superior.
Este hito marca el inicio oficial del proyecto Erasmus+ liderado por la Universidad San Francisco de Quito y Yachay TECH.
