Between September 19-22, the HAF-Dakira team conducted two two-day capacity-building workshops with a total of 39 participants [20 men, 19 women, including 26 classified as youth] representing 22 civil society organizations in Essaouira. The theme was “Innovative Cultural Heritage Documentation: Community Participation for Heritage Regeneration.”

Theory-based sessions on the first day of each workshop included: Connecting Heritage and Sustainability, Digital Heritage Documentation and Site Identification, and Intangible Heritage Documentation and Digital Storytelling.

On the second day of each workshop, participants visited religious and cultural heritage sites in the Old Medina of Essaouira, documented sites for mapping purposes, and created and presented a total of eight video capsules encompassing the sites they visited and stories they were told. Capsules are in rough draft form and are undergoing further editing. The workshops served as the pilot activity for the evolving CSO-training element of the Dakira program.

مشروع "سلامتنا مسؤوليتنا" لتدريب وتأهيل المتطوعين على التصرف السليم والآمن في الحالات الطارئة

أنهى فريق برنامج بناء القدرات المجتمعية في دائرة العلاقات المسكونية والتنمية تدريب 28 متطوعاً من المجتمع المحلي في محافظة السويداء، وذلك ضمن مشروع "سلامتنا مسؤوليتنا" والذي يهدف إلى تدريب مئة متطوع من المجتمع المحلي حول التصرف السليم والآمن في الحالات الطارئة، وذلك من خلال استهداف مجموعات من مختلف الفئات العمرية والاجتماعية ، و تزويدهم بمعلومات علمية و عملية يستطيعون الاستفادة منها في تطوير مهاراتهم ، وإعطاءهم آليات التدخل السليم في الحالات الطارئة مثل :"الحرائق و إطلاق النار و الانفجارات" بالإضافة إلى تدريبهم على الإسعافات الأولية للإصابات.
