San José de Chaltura, parroquia rural, perteneciente al Cantón Antonio Ante de la provincia de Imbabura, está ubicada a 3.5 Km de la ciudad de Atuntaqui y a 12 Km de Ibarra, capital provincial; a 128 Km de Quito, capital de la República del Ecuador.
La cabecera parroquial consta con las coordenadas geográficas: 0º 21’ 19” de latitud norte y 78º11’ 32” de longitud oeste.

The Endingen Jewish cemetery (canton of Aargau) is the oldest Jewish cemetery still in existence in Switzerland. It has been listed since 1963.

A scene that is on borrowed time. A daily routine of BLU T31 pulling 'the bottom' which is the track of outbound cars from the paper mill in Canton, NC is coming to a close due to the mill announcing it is curtailing its operations in early June 2023. A scene that used to happen everyday now will be history in the coming months.

The Canton was pulling three Railboxes from the dockside behind a pair of classic EMDs on a beautiful morning in Charm City.
Canton's cute little Knoxville Locomotive Works NZESE15BL4T 1906 was puttering around at O'Donnell Street with some dirt containers.
This thing is always worth a few images when I come across it in my travels.
When I heard that PORU went up the Rumford Branch Thursday night with a pair of high hoods on each end, and the forecast for Friday morning showing sunny skies, it was an easy choice to forgo sleep after getting out of work that morning. MEC 377 leads the 516 and the 371 with thirty cars as they trundle along through the fields in Canton, with the early morning sun casting some very nice light as they roll towards Rileys. The portion of the line between Rileys and Rumford is somewhat undercovered in comparison to the rest of the line, mainly due to the nocturnal schedule of the jobs, but with the sun rising so early, and so far north this time of the year, it's ideal for RUPO, which generally leaves Rumford around 5 AM.
