A poppy and seed pod dancing together, I would like to thank Miss WNP for the inspiration behind my title .
White, majestic beauty.
One of my first photos taken with my 70-200mm L-series lens back in 2020.

Never been to a wast valley like that before. One can imagine how impressive the scenery is, surrounded by mountain and fast changing wheater and light. I decided to take the tele lens for a better compression and making the mountains in the background more visible.
Photo from last year's session of Monti the Irish Setter. In such heat (35°C) I was tempted to run through the fountain too, but it wouldn't end well for the camera :) After all, in such hot weather you have to remember to cool down not only yourself, but also our pets - they are much more difficult to endure heat than people.
Sometimes it's just nice to get outside, shift your mindset, and pay more attention to what's going on around you. It probably sounds like I'm making excuses for a mediocre photo posted here, but it's true - we always feel a bit more clarity on the way home again. How about you?
Kebler Pass, Crested Butte, CO
Spectacular conditions from Kebler Pass last weekend made for some great images. After about an hour of shooting in a light rain, the skies began to clear off. As the storm moved out, the landscape was left with pockets of fog floating across the mountains. We drove back and forth along Kebler finding incredible scenes everywhere we looked. I broke out the 70-200 as this patch of fog began rising from behind the stands of aspen. While it had been raining in the lower elevations, the clouds cleared to reveal that it had been snowing in the higher elevations, you can see the trees in the background have been dusted with a light snow. This was certainly my most productive photography outing, and I'm thrilled. Lots more to come from Crested Butte.

Whilst out walking the dog on Saturday I became aware of the sky starting to kick off, I sprinted home to pick up my camera. The 70-200 was still on it, I put in a card and battery and sprinted to a fence overlooking this harvested crop field and breathlessly fired off a few images before the colour went off with my lens propped on the fence as In my rush I had forgotten to pick up my tripod.
