Another photo from Morialta Conservation Park, this time of the Second Falls. It isn't the easiest falls to get to, as there isn't a path, just over grown plants and a few rocks/bolders to climb over. Well worth the effort to get there.
Three photo's (-2,0,+2EV), then taken into Photomatix. Finished off in Photoshop with some USM and a High Pass Filter and some colour adjustment.

About Morialta Conservation Park
Morialta Conservation Park is well known for its impressive waterfalls, deep gorges and lush, wooded hillsides, just 20 minutes drive from the city at the base of the Adelaide Hills.
A popular place for rock climbers and bushwalkers of all abilities, Morialta includes trails suitable for prams as well as more challenging climbs that offer breathtaking views across the hills to the city.
Try the First Falls Plateau Hike, Second Falls Gorge Hike or the Three Falls Grand Hike that take you up steep hills, rewarding your effort with views of tumbling waterfalls and scenic valleys. Keep an eye out for abseilers and rockclimbers who regularly tackle the escarpments between Second and Third Falls.
Those after a more leisurely experience can stroll along Fourth Creek to the First Falls, where water seasonally plunges down a 30 metre high rockface.
This is an HDR shot from South lake Tahoe. It was taken in 2009, when I was still learning a lot about the digital SLR and photography in general. The sunset was amazing, but I wish there was someone on the pier to add some character. Anyway, it has a pretty tranquil feel to it, which is good.
4x elinchrom RX600 flash.2 for rim,one a bit right from camera.Other is for fill light from behind camera.I add sky after shooting photo.

Once I had taken some images of Jess from the stairs, I moved onto the landing and captured this images with the light coming down from the skylight. Again a simple and innocent looking image.
