Another from a great trip through the Caingorms. Scots pine trees rising from the blooming heather was the last photograph of the day. This is an area that will definitely need revisiting.
It won’t be replacing my Mark IV anytime soon but the quality on the new 13 Pro is pretty remarkable — I think it would make do in a pinch!
A perennial airshow favourite is the RAF Typhoon display with the big twin engine jet being flung around the sky in a mix of turns and rolls.
Weathered Neglected - A fine old mansion, Graystone, in Coatesville, PA. The parking lot shows this Fall just how long it has been since visitors came by the fallen leaves and pine needles.
A spot I visited a couple of years ago remained a firm favourite for the autumn colours. A visit last week, at what I hope was peak colour, resulted in a panoramic shot of the River Garry, Soldier's Leap and surrounding trees. It wasn't an easy one to capture, clambering over slippy rocks and moss to get by the river side and then standing and waiting under an umbrella for heavy rain showers to pass. All part of the fun and I'm pleased with the result.
