Merry Christmas everyone. This is a classic view of the San Francisco Bay bridge. The clouds here are our storm rolling in that brought snow in the Sierras and lots of rain in the Bay Area. It is interesting that right at the blue hour the light from the bridge lights started to reflect in the low clouds above. I was ready to leave, but then noticed this going on and snapped a few more shots with some added color. Next, it took me 25 minutes to get onto this bridge (instead of 5 minutes), and twice as long to get home.. I think it was worth it this time, though. Again, Hapy holidays everyone!

Or, at least, the holiday lights are being put up.

...One of those beautiful sunset that give a beautiful color hue from the long exposure. Converting to mono does not justify the color of the sunset that I had enjoyed.
This is the place that I station lately, a nice cosy small town in Sihueng-si, South Korea. Enjoying the seafood though.....

It was clear and then the clouds returned. Only a few puddles left from all the rain we got to do a reflection of the sun trying to reclaim the sky.

Sunset or sundown is the daily disappearance of the Sun below the horizon in the west as a result of Earth's rotation.
The time of sunset is defined in astronomy as the moment when the trailing edge of the Sun's disk disappears below the horizon in the west. The ray path of light from the setting Sun is highly distorted near the horizon because of atmospheric refraction, making the sunset appear to occur when the Sun’s disk is already about one diameter below the horizon. Sunset is distinct from dusk, which is the moment at which darkness falls, which occurs when the Sun is approximately eighteen degrees below the horizon. The period between sunset and dusk is called twilight.
Locations north of the Arctic Circle and south of the Antarctic Circle experience no sunset or sunrise at least one day of the year, when the polar day or the polar night persist continuously for 24 hours.
Sunset creates unique atmospheric conditions such as the often intense orange and red colors of the Sun and the surrounding sky.
Hi everyone!
I'm posting today a wildlife shot, trying to diverify a bit my stream as I
really like a lot of styles in photography.
I'm trying to focus on a different way to shoot wildlife, in black & white.
I think this is a way to really capture the expressions of the animals,
just like documentary photography for the humans (which is much better in
b&w). So why not showing animals' expressions in photography just as humans' expressions are shown? I think wildlife photography should be more focused on animals' feelings, expressions and even emotions they emit through their gesture, their eyes, their interaction with their habitat or their movements. Please leave me some words if you agree or disagree with this as it's a small innovation I'm trying to give.
I took a picture of this ring-tailed lemur a few months ago with my Canon
5d MarkII and my 70-200 f/2.8 L USM in a really nice open zoo called
BioPark in Valencia, Spain. I didn't perform much treatment, just some
cropping, contrast and luminosity finetuning, and switching to black &
white using the channel mixer in Photoshop CS5.
I really hope you'll like it!
If you like it, press F :)
Thank you for your comments and feedback, I really appreciate it!
