Candy Cane Lane is located in West Allis, WI and these are some of the best houses from 2015's edition.

Darek and I made our traditional Christmas trip to Candy Cane Lane stopping to drop Floyd the Flamingo off at some friends home. Masks were on about 50% of them and most people socially distanced themselves. We picked up supper at Sonic on our way home. It was a wonderful evening.

In the afternoon we went to the Regal Cinemas to see Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. We're continuing Aunt DorOthy's tradition of going to a movie on Christmas Day. The theatre was almost sold out.

After the movie we went home to let the furbys out to pee (or whatever), grabbed our cameras and went to Minerva Road (aka Candy Cane Lane) in Cathedral City. There were way fewer decorated homes that years past, but what was there was beautiful and well worth the drive.

We came home and Darek grilled Bubba Burgers. Yum!

There a street in the city where they go ALL THE FUCK OUT on Christmas lights, and I decided to go visit to walk around and take pictures. The original plan was to *drive* around and take pictures, but everyone else in the Greater St. Louis Metropolitan Area had that same thought, so I decided that my best bet was to park a few streets away and go on foot instead.

Then it occurred to me that I was in the neighborhood where my ex's parents live, and that my ex might be home for Christmas, so I got spooked and fled.

Darek & I made our traditional visit to Candy Cane Lane (aka Minerva Road) in Cathedral City this evening. We saw a few other displays along the way.

One of the houses on NE Park Road (at the end of Ravenna Blvd, right before Ravenna Park or Park Road NE. This section of town is a loop road with a circle at the middle of the loop at the very end of Ravenna Blvd and the entrance to Ravenna Park. Since the 1940's, residents of this area have lit their homes with lights from Dec. 10 through Jan. 1 and have placed signs with the word "Peace" in many different languages. It's called Candy Cane Lane.

Christmas lights and displays at Candy Cane Lane are a favourite in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. This West Edmonton neighbourhood puts up interesting and colourful Christmas lights and displays.
