When I went to supermarket shopping, all I see is sweeties and chocolate for the Christmas Festival.
Someone has discovered candy and is starting to get addicted. My daughter! But maybe it's my fault. I had to use candy to potty train her. I had to "prize" her when she used the potty, ya know? And although it worked (she hasn't worn a diaper now in 6 days! Yay!) I'm not digging the "I want candy..." all day long. A childhood wouldn't be one without candy though right? =D
The day was so beautiful yesterday, we went to the park and had a little picnic. We took our kites, a ball, snacks, a little radio and just chilled. It was AWESOME. We are so blessed! Have a lovely Sunday. =) Sorry I've been MIA but I've been pretty busy. But things should be back to normal now.

This candy cannon has just fired toward a waiting crowd in a nearby field. This cannon is powered by compressed air and its barrel loaded with treats. A high point of any visit to Cornbelly's.

Inspired by the "PicADay-Xmas Style" group and today's theme of "Candy, Candy Canes, Candy Corn, and Syrup" and the movie "Elf". Elf is one of my favourite christmas movies and that scene in the movie always cracks me up.
So I thought that with the start of my new 365 yesterday it might be fun to do some random facts (plus I've been 'tagged' a few times and it's only fair!).
1. Last night I was a judge for my school's (I work at a high school) Talent Show. It was fun although a little intimidating as we had to sit on stage and act quite official. The show was great and it was fun to see so many creative talents.
2. I went to the doctor on Monday and during my exam found out that my resting heart rate is around 42 bpm! The average is around 70-85 and Olympic athletes are usually in the 30-50 range! All that running and cycling must be working :)
3. I dropped my camera remote in a cup of chocolate almond milk right before taking this shot, the remote survived!
4. Today at work I mistaken for a student by a guest speaker....not the first time it's happened either
5. The one thing I don't like about christmas.....Egg Nog. There, I said it.
6. A Muppet Christmas Carol is my favourite holiday movie.
7. One of my photos was recently asked by the National Scrabble Association to be used on their website/newsletter, I'm being paid in t-shirts. p.s. it's this shot
That's all I can think of at the moment, but I might put in some more tomorrow :)
I really overestimated the amount of candy I needed to stuff the Easter eggs for the church yesterday.
