the candy movie (rather, first 90sec of it:)
~~~
My first ever attempt on making a "movie" with Picasa.
There's no internet at my home-home, so wanted to show the ready Candy Calendar for my parents at Xmas. This took about 10min to prepare, so no effort has been put into the appearance, colors etc. which bugs me a wee bit, have to admit. But the purpose was to just make a quick look for them :)
Uploaded my first movie to Flickr and was shocked that it was cut - not even in the middle. I see there's a 90sec limitation for these here :)
I don't know if I'll come up with an idea how to cut the 5min40sec movie into pieces, so you might only get to see this bit :)
(also I do not get why Flickr chooses to show this "day two" shot as the cover for the film, even if the original had the almonds as heading? Oh well, I don't think I'll be making any more movies..:)
The craft for the Tweens on Friday was making candy jewelry! The kids were encouraged to make whatever they wanted, so the only challenge was not eating the candy before turning it into jewelry!
