Every once in a while I browse old RAW files and discover a beautiful image that, for whatever reason, I had originally discarded. This one is from 2011. Not sure what I was thinking at the time.
Please see in full screen.

Cam came up to my neck of the woods to shoot some fresh photos. Always a blast to hang out and shoot with 'em. This is one of the many great shots that we got...probably one of my favorite shoots so far. Cameron is going for a darker....mysterious kind of look...I think we were able to pull that off.
Really glad to explored around more...we were able to find this awesome old truck that was just abandoned. The shot was inspired by Mr. L. Really stoked on how it came out and the weather held out long enough for us to do the shoot!

Another image from last weekend. Cameron Falls in Waterton Lakes National Park. The day was overcast, snowing and windy. Regardless I got out to get some images.
The falls are in a high traffic area, cordoned off with barricades so moving around the falls was a challenge. It was well worth the trip down despite the weather. Light was low and very even.

Like Corgan, Cameron has a lot of Siamese in him, but he too is a "mutt-cat" - Originally he came from the Humane Society. He is the only one of our cats that is allowed outside (only because he absolutely insists...), so I don't get as much chance to love on him. He is also the sweetest, most gentle cat I have ever met.....
This one's from a few months ago and I've already posted a portrait orientated version but given the lack of new stuff I've been able to shoot lately I've been going through the Hard drive...
This one has a small fishing boat Being tossed about close to the horizon on the right hand side. It was watching that boat enter the harbour that it became apparent just how effective this break water really is.

Cameron's car.
He was only 18 and this was his introduction into the world of street machines.
Cameron always had a love of cars and naturally enough whn he purchased his first car it was destined to be a streeter.
It was partially built when as a 17 year old he parted with a wad of hard earned cash and put the incomplete project onto a trailer and had it driven home.
He immediately set to work on the project and poured every spare minute and dollar into it.
With a lot on input from family and friends it took a little over 12 months for Cameron's car to pass all the checks and balances to get passed for rego and then take to the streets.
It is Cameron's main ride but he does keep it top condition and when I caught up with him he was participating in his first car show.
Whilst the show itself was not a major event but rather a more informal show day the blue beast did attract more than its fair share of attention and proved to be a crowd pleaser.
Cameron wanted to obtain a slightly different perspective to highlight the car and so this was the angle that I have delivered.

There were some very interesting areas of creek bed and multicoloured rocks in this area near Lake Cameron.

The header on a 1911 bank calendar.
The bank was located in Emporium, PA at the wye where East Allegheny and East Third Street split. I could find very little history on this building, other than it being built around 1908. I don't think that it was there for more than 20 years. (My guess would be possibly destruction by fire?) As a child in the 1950's, living across the street, this lot was occupied by a wood framed Mobil filling station. In the sixties it exploded due to leaking underground gasoline tanks. It was rebuilt with cement blocks and remained a Mobil station into the 70's. After that it was a machine shop for maybe 20 years and presently a building contractor's warehouse/shop.

Bristol international balloon fiesta was unfortunately scaled down as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This was the first of a number of smaller balloon launches

We went on a short pre-Christmas tramp in the Kaweka, visiting Studholme Saddle and Cameron Huts.

^^^ You really gotta view large ^^^
I spent the afternoon with solo artist Cameron Walker
He's making some great strides with his music, I really suggest that you check it out if you like indie pop. He just got done recording his EP a few days ago. I can't wait for that to be released. He's got a great sound, and vibe going. I dig it.
We checked out an unmixed track before heading out. I had a great time. He's really chill.
I wanted to try out some new things for this shoot, lemme know what you dig about it.
This was the 2nd location that we shot at so I will be posting one or two more!
A Big thanks goes out to Paul (you need to get me your flickr link) who assisted me with this shoot. He's an aspiring photojournalist!
