As a kid, we used to pick these trumpets and pop them into the sky and watch them float like parachutes...gardeners hate bindweed as they can tangle your whole patch as soon as your back is turned...but isn't this beautiful.

Calystegia sepium grows in hedges, on fences and at the edges of woods chiefly in the Midlands and southern England. One of its country names is Morning Glory.
