Calystegia sepium (L.) R.Br., Søborg, Denmark, 24 July 2015

Found in a Hedge, Bound up with Ivy...

Rising with Morning, a promise of Glory...

Unbinding and growing, achieving its peak...

Unwinding, releasing, and smoothing, uncreasing...

Unfurling, unfolding, and gracefully reaching...

Stretching, unpacking and loosening and free.

I could go on, but I won't. A burgeoning flower - it's enough for me.

Calystegia sepium.

Also known as Rutland beauty, bugle vine, heavenly trumpets, bellbind, or granny-pop-out-of-bed

The flowers may be white or pink. I am fairly confident of the identification. It was, however, made on the basis of this photograph alone. It was a grab shot of a pretty flower taken at Bombay Hook NWR. I did not collect sample or take the time to get a detailed series of pictures.
