Here in nature I sit in thought,
Past experiences compared to naught,
Beautiful leaves, frail and gilded,
Like memories, oh loved and wilted,
Soothing sounds of harmonic bliss,
Losing thoughts in beautiful abyss,
Pure light streaming down in glorious rays,
That have shown throughout my darkest days,
Storms approaching threaten inner peace,
Rains washing away the feelings deceased,
When the maelstrom ends and clouds clear,
Yet again calming thoughts will be here.
A poem by Anthony Degilio
Nel mio dialetto, la parola ancarvarò indica un cielo pieno di nuvole in movimento, estremamente mutevole. E questo è il cielo tipico della primavera che, dopo il lungo inverno, sembra essere finalmente arrivata su queste colline.
In my dialect, the word ancarvarò indicates a sky full of moving clouds, extremely changeable. And this is the typical sky of spring which, after the long winter, seems to have finally arrived on these hills.

This was taken after the shelf cloud had bowled along and out to sea. That deep intense broody sky was almost inky over the north sea but hardly a drop of rain fell..

I am not a calm person but am trying to work on it. It drives my family crazy that I can't relax and do things like have movie marathons but the thought of sitting for hours is torturous. Today I will be still and calm and breathe.
It's a good feeling when you go out and create something new. It's an even better feeling when you go out and create something you saw only in your mind.
Preparation made perfection tonight. Pleased with the results.
Although I did have some computer issues which may have tainted my editing skills tonight lol
