Everytime I've been to this location its been a little overcast, although what was going on above me was probably a cloud inversion and a wondered if I'd made the right decision. I like the calmness of the image though helped with the still waters.

A safe port in a storm...and a lovely place to visit : Mevagissey is amongst my favourite of the Cornish fishing villages...and a place I am sure to re-visit.

Montreux’s lake view unfolds like a living postcard — calm blue waters stretching toward the towering Alps, their snow-lined ridges glowing in the soft Swiss light. The gentle curve of the Riviera, dotted with vineyards and hillside cottages, meets the dramatic rise of the Dents du Midi, creating a perfect harmony of serenity and grandeur. It is a landscape where the lake breathes quietly, the mountains stand timeless, and every moment feels touched by beauty.
Took this just before this last round of Winter storms set in. Temperatures were in the high 30's and most of the snow had melted. There were even a few green leaves left on the branches! Today's high was 18....and it's been snowing for three days. Winter.

This was taken just minutes after my last image I shared. These three people had been laying in the swell of the sand dunes but came to the top to witness the incredible sunset over the mountain range in the distance. The power of nature is just incredible. The beauty of its light and surroundings continues to awe me in every place I take buy photography. I hope you enjoy this one.

It wasn't until my last day in Iceland that I noticed this beautiful lake right in the middle of Reykjavik. Its calm waters really caught my eye as I was driving towards the downtown area for lunch before the flight home. Maybe because all the other days that I happened to pass by it it was wicked windy so there was no reflection. This is Tjornin, a small pond just a few blocks away from Austuvallur, Reykjavik's main square. Totally worth a stop to admire this view and for a moment feel its calmness relaxing you.
