The scene over the Northumberland Strait from the Summerside area was calm and beautiful on this December 26th.

I really liked the colors of the sky, the dramatic clouds, and the glassy pool in the foreground. I shot this vertically because i wanted to include a good amount of clouds. The clouds looked really cool in this shot. This location being literally 10 steps from a sidewalk busy with tourists, I was surprised there wasn’t a ton of people to get in the way of the shot.
I've never been any good at startrails, I'm a pretty patient guy but standing around for 20minutes+ doing absolutely nothing isn't something I'd like to do on a regular basis. That particular night however was so incredibly calm and peaceful I had no trouble at all standing still for..., well, I'm not sure time passed at all that night. This is from two weeks ago as I haven't been able to go out much lately. Good thing to have tons (and I mean tons) of unprocessed stuff for backup :) I wonder why the star trail streaks are dotted, maybe because of clouds passing by?
The giant Celine makes her way down the channel into Dublin Port, passing the Great South Wall, its not called a breakwater for nothing as the above photo shows the calming affect on the sea depending what side your on, or perhaps walking on water.
This is where the Bervie enters the North Sea , usually a place of large rolling waves. Dead calm when this photo was taken.
"Frozen" sea and Ferry at the port of Piraues after a 60 sec exposure with the help of my ND filters.
Well the old weather is calming down. Three power cuts, a fence panel down and a tidy up in the back yard have all led to a very worn out little bunny. Tonight outfit was meant to be my Wednesday night dance class outfit but I didn't fancy driving in the blustery conditions do stayed at home instead.

A stroll along Seafield beach after a stormy and wintery April's day (Scottish weather at its best) provided this calm yet moody scene with gulls poised in the clouds.
Taken last week around midnight. I got very cold and wet feet. Long exposure. This image straight from the camera.
