From an Offshoot Flower Photography evening.

I hadn't brought my tripod, so the relatively soft lighting made hand holding a bit of a challenge for several of the lighting setups. The on camera flash was not only stark , but also generally illuminated too much of the background, resulting in fussy, distracting pictures. I eventually settled for shooting straight down onto the subject, using the floor as a background. Zuiko 40-150mm kit lens and on-camera flash.
