An image of Victoria Memorial, a colonial era building set in well kept grounds that form an oasis of calm in an otherwise hectic city.
Old Castle Street, Aldgate. It houses the Art, Architecture and Design faculty of the London Metropolitan University.
The building was originally constructed as a packing factory and warehouse for the tea merchants Brooke Bond. It stands on both sides of the street, with the two halves linked by the bridge seen here at the top.
The road in the distance (with the red bus) is Whitechapel High Street.
Botanical garden in my sweet city, Calcutta (its actual location is in Howrah, the sister city of Calcutta)
The wallahs claim this is the last city on earth where human powered rickshaws remain a formidable force. They were introduced to Kolkata by Chinese immigrants more than a century ago.

Calcutta, India. I've seen similar scenes in several places throughout Calcutta. People congregate around a source of water--which isn't to say clean water--and do their business. It was tough to hang out in that part of the city without looking too much like an intruder. I was walking slowly, avoiding people's glances and stares, and hiding my camera as much as I could. Frankly, it didn't quite help. I couldn't do much about my white skin, backpack and sunglasses. But I did manage to snap a few shots without anyone looking at me.

Calcutta ( Kolkata ) in the state of West Bengal in India.
People are crazy and times are strange
I'm locked in tight, I'm out of range
I used to care, but things have changed
I've been walking forty miles of bad road
If the bible is right, the world will explode
I've been trying to get as far away from myself as I can
Some things are too hot to touch
The human mind can only stand so much
You can't win with a losing hand
