Twelve months ago today I posted my first picture on Flickr. (And this, this, this, this and this.) I cannot begin to explain what the last year has done for my photography and the way I look at the world around me. It probably took me until March to work out what was going on and at that point I like to think I switched up my game and really started to push on. 24,206 views, 15 trips to explore and one front page spot later, I actually find myself the most thankful for you, my new friends, the people with whom I communicate on an (almost) daily basis.
I'd particularly like to thank Kim, for many things but most of all for coming on the 52 week trip with me, Clayton, for his unfailing cheerfulness, silly games and encouragement and Jeff, for despite his lack of height, his variety and knowledge have pushed me along a route like his. Thanks guys for passing that ladder down. But to all my contacts who leave comments, I owe a huge thank you.
I'm looking forward to the next year immensely.
PS Sorry, I didn't save you any - it was too tasty.

Our wedding and reception was held at Hotel Baker in St. Charles, Illinois. This historic 1920's hotel has original glass tiled floors that light up. It certainly was a beautiful backdrop for all of our pictures.
To bring the attention to the head and cake table, satin blue linens covered these tables. Also, I made custom Mr. and Mrs. name signs to adorn our chairs.

Wedding decorations done at The Kendleshire Golf Club for Zoe and Neils Wedding. The decorations that they had where table balloon decorations, white chair covers with a aquar blue organza sash bow, top table organza swag with lights and a starlight back behind the top table.
Som jeg faktisk ikke fik smagt. Jeg var stopmæt. Vi smed endda noget af islagkagen ud fordi vi ikke kunne skovle mere mad ned selvom vi havde været fem om sølle 2,7 liter!
