It's my granddaughters first birthday and what better oppertunity to try my hand at something I've been wanting to do for a long time...a cake table. My first and I loved it!

Cake table - three fondant covered rice crispy treat cakes topped with Fisher Price farm toys. Amanda made the fondant covered cakes. I made the fondant pig rump and mud puddle from pre-pkged Wilton fondant. The "store bought" sheet cake is chocolate topped with John Deere toys. The corn stalks are poster board tubes over standing metal poles, corn cobs are crepe paper. The "W" is for Weston, the "A" for Adeleigh. Milk jars are Starbucks. The banner is hand cut shapes embellished with ribbon, ric rack, buttons, bakers twine.

The bottom on this one is chocolate mud and the lid is strawberry mud. The "sand" on the board is made from a mix of raw sugar & brown sugar. Inspiration for this cake is from Rouvelee.
