Why must it always be all or nothing? At least, it really really feels that way sometimes. I guess i'm just a creature of extremes. I'm happy or i'm sad. Things are good or they're bad. I don't have much of a middle ground (i realize as i'm typing that this is patently untrue, but it feels true at the moment, so i'm gonna go with it).
For FGR's "Clone Meets Clone." And i'm using it for Theme of the Week's 10 Commandments thing--this one is "thou shalt not covet." Because the me on the right is totally all covet-y. In fact, i'm pretty covet-y in general. I covet all the live long day; i can't help it.

For a 21st birthday. This was caramel mud cake with white chocolate ganache. Air brushed black. I'm happy with it :)
3 tiered strawberry sponge - A wedding cake collection created by bake-a-boo to make a fabulous cake table at the wonderful wedding of Leon and Vanessa.
The cake table consisted of cakes in deffierent flavours, shapes and sizes, with each cake topped with a vintage bride and groom cake topper, carefully sourced for months in the lead up to the wedding by the lovely bride!
In keeping with the 'bride & groom' theme, we also created a 'barbie and ken' cake choosing dolls to look like leon and vanessa, this was the main cake and was a surprise for them, which they loved.
Making these cakes was a real joy!! and as a guest at the wedding also, I got to see people's reactions to the cake we had so many lovely comments as people tucked in and could choose to have different cakes or a little bit of each!

Triple layer Victoria sponge - A wedding cake collection created by bake-a-boo to make a fabulous cake table at the wonderful wedding of Leon and Vanessa.
The cake table consisted of cakes in deffierent flavours, shapes and sizes, with each cake topped with a vintage bride and groom cake topper, carefully sourced for months in the lead up to the wedding by the lovely bride!
In keeping with the 'bride & groom' theme, we also created a 'barbie and ken' cake choosing dolls to look like leon and vanessa, this was the main cake and was a surprise for them, which they loved.
Making these cakes was a real joy!! and as a guest at the wedding also, I got to see people's reactions to the cake we had so many lovely comments as people tucked in and could choose to have different cakes or a little bit of each!

This is my first ever Domino cake table. I’ve been waiting to do one of these for some time now…finally I got an order for it. Wow…is all I’m going to say about the amount of work that went into it! This was a 12” square Coconut Vanilla Rum Cake with vanilla buttercream frosting and fondant decorations.
This is one of my all time favorite desserts. Todd took me to Shoneys' cause he knows it is.
We don't have them in our part of Missouri any more.
It was very yummy!!!
Princess Cakes were created by a baker in Sweden for one of the three princess's birthdays. Traditionally, it is a genoise cake with three layers, containing jam, pastry cream & whipped cream. The dome is actually a dome of whipped cream, then covered with marzipan, yum!

Day after my birthday.
Felt weird to be back to the bottom, sort of.
Back to where I usually am - the mother duckling, the therapist.
That's okay. I like being known as that I think.

This is the cake I made for my boyfriend's best friend, the weather here was starting to make my fondant all shiny and wet (grrr) but even so the bday boy loved his cake xD
The cake was good (except for the nasty fake frosting). But the cupcakes kicked even more ass!

Inspired by the wonderful creations of ChesterCakes this was my first ever wedding cake and what a lot of work it was!! Top table is sponge and buttercream, both side tables are traditional wedding cake. Everthing apart from the chairs, wine glasses & "cake table" are edible.

A 365 reject taken on my coffee date with my lovely wife today. In the last two weeks I have been here three times and Gemma has been here five times! It's very nice, probably the nicest of the Tinderbox's in Glasgow. They always do good cakes, however the drinks could be better in my opinion!
Sydney Harbour Bridge....this is the view from the cake table out the window.....it took me exactly 10 minutes to drive into the city...15 by the time I got down to the wharf & found a park.
I looooove the city on an early Saturday morning as it's quietish & beautiful! I must go in more....

This table of custom-made wedding sweets was a gift from me to my sister Anitra. It includes nearly 200 individually decorated mini cupcakes, and an accent cake for the cutting ceremony. What about the actual wedding cake? It wasn't real, but it had everyone fooled!
