It’s 1977 and Rome is uneasy.
In the midst of a burgeoning feminist movement, civil unrest has become an ordinary part of life in the city.
As a popular leader rises to power, a small faction of the radicalised left - all women - turn violently against him.
This is Shakespeare's tragedy, full of fracture and deception and gender politics, whittled to its raw essence.

Today Caesar died at age twenty. I knew it would happen sooner or later but I feel very sad at the moment.
We met Caesar on the corner of San Julian and 6th. He wasn't in the best of health, but he made it clear that he doesn't want Obama's money. He was really looking forward to seeing his daughter from Mexico. When we said our goodbyes, he thanked us for taking the time to talk to him.
Caesar got a little too much under the influence of Bacchus while celebrating New Year's. He says, "Veni, vidi, vino." Translated that means, "I came, I saw, I got drunk on wine." He had champaign this evening, but he'll have real pain in the morning.

Caeser is available for adoption in Northern Virginia, USA, through HART .
Caeser comes from our volunteer who specializes in bottle babies. He was in a litter of seven and his mom was so emaciated she needed help feeding the kittens.
Leftover mustard-chive potatoes with it's creamy mustard-parmesan sauce mixed with baby spinach for a quick lunch - add a tinned sardine in brine or oil: a riff or something like a deconstructed Caesar's dressing. Start with the potatoes: thejameskitchen.wordpress.com/2013/11/27/mustard-chive-po...
