The 2013 Cadillac ATS compact luxury sedan features a driver-focused interior with thoughtfully crafted materials and the intuitively integrated CUE technology, a comprehensive in-vehicle experience that merges intuitive design with auto industry-first controls and commands for information and entertainment data. There are also seven interior color and trim combinations, complementing the dynamic exterior design elements and supporting the ATS' fun-to-drive attitude. (01/08/2012)
This is a display case with all of the emblems Cadillac has had with the year each one was first featured. Cadillac is changing the current emblem to one that is wider and more narrow, and has dropped the olive leaves.

Watch out, BMW, Cadillac is aiming for you again.
Cadillac presented the 2013 ATS compact sedan at the New York Auto Show, and this car, smaller than the CTS, is clearly targeted at BMW's 3-series. Indeed, Cadillac used the 3-series as a benchmark in creating the ATS. It's as long as a 3-series sedan (182 inches), with a similarly sized wheelbase. Engine choices include a 2.5-liter inline four, a two-liter turbo four, and a 3.6-liter V6. The turbo makes 270 horsepower.
Cadillac has declared war on Germany to make the world safe for driving fun.

A new 30-second spot previewing the upcoming 2013 Cadillac ATS will air on the U.S. television broadcast of the Super Bowl this Sunday. The spot showcases actual testing footage of the car, Cadillac's entry into the super-competitive compact luxury segment.

2013 North American Car of the Year.
The front end is nice, but the rear is too busy. There are the usual Cadillac design cues, but I don't think that chrome is necessary below the license plate. The lower part of the rear bumper seems out of place. I think it would be more at-home on a Corvette.

Here's a standard ATS, without the "V" frosting. Butthe base model is still pretty snazzy. And, it has a four-cylinder "Ecotec" 2.5 as its standrad engine, though a V-6 is also available.
Cadillac, named for the Frenchman who founded Detroit, is still considered an also-ran in the luxury sweepstakes, but its move to New York (no truth to the rumor that it will rename itself Minuit) may help change that.
