You never expect to find such a beautiful Camaro in Brussels but here she was. In the center of Saint-Gilles. It is a 6th generation Camaro.
Chevrolet Camaro
The Chevrolet Camaro is a mid-size American automobile manufactured by Chevrolet, classified as a pony car and some versions also as a muscle car. It went on sale on September 29, 1966, for the 1967 model year and was designed as a competing model to the Ford Mustang. The car shared its platform and major components with the Pontiac Firebird, also introduced for 1967.
Four distinct generations of the Camaro were developed before production ended in 2002. The nameplate was revived on a concept car that evolved into the fifth-generation Camaro; production started on March 16, 2009.Over 5 million Camaros have been sold.
On May 16, 2015, Chevrolet introduced the sixth generation Camaro coincided with the vehicle's upcoming 50th birthday. Sales started in 2015 for the 2016 model year. The Camaro now utilizes the GM Alpha platform shared with the Cadillac ATS and CTS. Motor Trend named the 2016 Camaro its "Car of the Year".

In the 1990s, car companies from the former Axis Powers competed with each other for dominance in America's luxury car segment with fast, sleek, sporty products while Cadillac, besotted with an image of overstuffed, underperforming, garish land yachts (and still making cars that fit that stereotype) sat in a corner and cried wah-wah. No more. In case you haven't noticed, Cadillac, the "Standard Of the World," has the cars and the moxie to go against the best of Germany, Italy and Japan.
The 2015 Cadillac ATS coupe is the latest weapon in Cadillac's arsenal, a stylish coupe that is taking over from the larger CTS coupe (the CTS is now just a four-door sedan) with a 3.6-liter V-6 under the hood, an automatic transmission shifting the gears, and a 0-60 time of 5.6 seconds. An optional two-liter turbo four offers the chance to get six-speed stick as well.
Not every car Cadillac has produced in its "art and science" period has been a hit - sadly, the Corvette-based XLR was a miss - but no one will confuse today's Cadillacs with the 1940s-inspired land yachts of the early postwar decades.

Der Beetle Dune zieht auf dem VW-Stand der Detroiter Motorshow alle Aufmerksamkeit auf sich. Da spielen der sparsame Passat BlueMotion ebenso wie der Power Golf R mit seinen 300 PS unter der Haube und der Elektro-Golf schon mal die zweite Geige. Aber die auffällig gestylte Offroad-Studie des Beetle lässt nichts aus, und zieht alle Register. Von der höher gelegten Karosserie über breitere Radhäuser, in denen 19-Zoller satt Platz finden, bis hin zum kernigen Spoiler und der neuen prägnanteren Frontpartie. Angetrieben wird der Fronttriebler von einem 210 PS starken Turbobenziner. Das Beste am Dune: Er kann Serie. (news2do.com)

The Cadillac ATS was another attempt fro Cadillac to compete with the BMW 3-Series and Audi A4. In Europe, It's task is to success the Cadillac BLS, which was a real sales failure.
The ATS is Cadillac's new hope for Europe. The car, based on the Opel Insignia, has to compete with the Audi A4, BMW 3-series and Mercedes-Benz C-class. These cars are so well established in Europe it will be extremely difficult for Cadillac to get a partnof that segment.
With it's long and low proportions, the ATS Coupe looks bigger than it is - it's slightly smaller than the fastback CTS Coupe, which it will replace in the fall. The CTS was redesigned for 2014 as a sedan only, though the previous-generation CTS coupe lingered on into 2014 and, indeed, was still on display at NYIAS.
The ATS is aimed at the BMW 4-series and Mercedes C-class Coupe, but carries a style entirely it's own into the class. It has all the feel of Cadillac's modern look and the CTS coupe (though without the sharp fastback tail), but also seems to harken back to older Cadillac coupes with it's more traditional proportions. The ATS Coupe is also the first Cadillac to wear the revised badge without the traditional laurel wreath, seen on the screen behind the car.
