It's easy to think that all soft-top Porsche 356s are Speedsters, but there was also a Cabriolet version and a Roadster (no roof). Speedsters had a lighter body and larger engine than the Cabriolets, and are the most sought after model today. This Cabriolet was imported into the USA in 1961 and came to the UK in 2013. Apart from an engine rebuild in 1975, it is original. It was on sale for £214,000.
I see the odd Punto cabrio around but this one caught my eye.
The Punto cabriolet was built by Bertone (rather than at the main Fiat factory), featured an electric hood and was one of the cheapest open top cars in the world at the time. Available in ELX and SX trim.
55,000 cars built.
The badges on this car make no bones about its identity..
