Convertible - 02
Styled by Pininfarina, the popular French family car Peugeot 403 made its debut in 1955. A two-door Convertible Version on which the 6-wide model is based was launched the following year (1956).
Inspired by the American television series Columbo.

The BMW 327 is a medium sized touring coupé produced by the Bavarian firm between 1937 and 1941, and again produced after 1945. It sat on a shortened version of the BMW 326 chassis.

A brunette lady posing with a Peugeot in front of a café in a busy city street. She is wearing a knee-length skirt a sleeveless top in the fashion of the sixties.
There's an intriguing detail to this photo, however. The print was developed by a photographer's shop in the East German town of Bitterfeld. Also, the name of the café in the photo appears to be written in Czech. Where was this photo taken, and how did this rare French convertible end up on the other side of the iron curtain?
