Con cerca de 300.000 habitantes, Camagüey es la tercera ciudad más importante de Cuba, después de La Havana y Santiago. A pesar de no ser un destino turÃstico es recomendable su visita por ser una de las ciudades más interesantes del paÃs.

Visiting and watching old Havana, Varadero and the beautiful people. Revolution is what they breath and what they had learn, 50% of cubans are happy and 50% want to run away. But 100% of them are so happy, always dancing, singing and just living what their life. That I respect.
CUBAN PORTRAITS:
Since 1970, when I purchased my first Nikon F camera I have dreamed of traveling to Cuba and photographing the people and country before the Castro Brothers passed away. Cuba has been frozen in time for over 50 years due to the American embargo and the communist revolution.
Given that Cuba has been in a "time warp" for so many years, I wanted to capture it before the next revolution, which hopefully will be peaceful and productive for it's people.
In 2013, a group of excellent photographers traveled for several weeks to capture a slice of that special island. No one had any idea that the United States and Cuba would recognize and establish diplomatic relations. In 2015 "Republica de Cuba" was self-published by Innereye Press. This book is dedicated to the Cuban people for welcoming us to their homes and country.
