CSL's newest Trillium class vessel makes one of its infrequent visits to the western end of Lake Superior as it departs Two Harbors with Minntac export pellets for Quebec City (and eventually overseas).

After fueling at Windsor, the CSL Welland continues her upbound journey on a dreary, rainy day.

The CSL, ('L' stands for 'leicht' in German, or 'lightweight') is based on the 3.0 CS coupe, continued to win races even into the 1980's, although production ended in 1975.

A portion of our Fall journey took us to Sault Ste. Marie where we were able to catch a few passing ships.

Loading grain at CHS in Superior as snow falls. Low beams on the van help illuminate the cross bucks for the lead into CHS and frame up the Pineglen nicely.
