CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (also known as CSI Las vegas complete dvd

) is an American crime drama television series, which premiered on CBS on October 6, 2000. CSI Las vegas complete series

was created by Anthony E. Zuiker and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. CSI: Las Vegas is filmed primarily at Universal Studios in Universal City, California.CSI: Las Vegas follows Las Vegas criminalists as they use physical evidence to solve grisly murders in this unusually graphic drama, which has inspired a host of other cop-show 'procedurals.' An immediate ratings smash for CBS, CSI: Las Vegas mixes deduction, gritty subject matter and popular characters. The network quickly capitalized on its hit with spin-offs CSI: Miami and CSI: NY.

CSIS staff and interns relaxed on Friday and enjoyed food, sun, and the excitement of the Whippersnappers v. Geezers softball game.

Geezers, per usual, came out on top!

Rumors are swirling @usfca about what they found....

During excavation this week for the new Center for Science and Innovation, workers found approximately two dozen buried caskets. USF notified city authorities and immediately stopped work in that area. Work has now been moved to a different part of the construction site.

As part of the permitting process, the city required that USF hire an archaeologist to be on site during construction. He was here when the discovery was made and is ensuring that the remains are treated with the utmost respect. That archaeologist, Allan G. Pastron, Ph.D., President of Archeo-Tec, Inc., says the discovery is not unusual during construction in San Francisco, and notes that a Masonic cemetery was located in the USF neighborhood more than a century ago.

“At that time, this part of San Francisco was still quite removed from the city-center and was occupied by a number of graveyards, including the Masonic Cemetery. However, by the early decades of the 20th century, San Francisco had grown to the point where a rapidly expanding population required new areas for residential use. As a result, it was decided that all cemeteries in the City would be closed and relocated to the City of Colma. The removal process sometimes proved to be rather haphazard. Some of the graves were overlooked and remained in their original locations, only to be uncovered during the course of construction years later. This is the case with the recent discoveries at the University of San Francisco. When the remnants of old cemeteries are encountered in San Francisco, archaeologists follow well-established protocols and document the remains appropriately, and then to arrange a place for their final disposition at another location. This is the process now underway on the USF campus.”

This year’s edition of the WEO also has a special focus on the outlook for nuclear power and its implications, and an in-depth study of sub-Saharan Africa, highlighting the prospects for improving access to modern energy services and for developing the region’s huge resource potential in a way that contributes not only to regional and global energy balances, but also to local and social well-being.
