Crystal Palace Park is a Victorian pleasure ground, used for cultural and sporting events. It is located in the south-east London suburb of Crystal Palace, which was in turn named after The Crystal Palace which had been moved from Hyde Park, London after the 1851 Great Exhibition and rebuilt with some modifications and enlargements to form the centrepiece of the pleasure ground, before being destroyed by fire in 1936.
This is the statue of Sir Joseph Paxton who was the designer of the Crystal Palace
Garnet (Almandine)
Birth Sign: Virgo, Scorpio
Associated Chakra: Base, Heart, cleanses all
Composition: Magnesium aluminium silicate with other silicate
Garnet is a powerful stone with protective qualities. This deeply coloured stone is used to stabilise and balance the lower chakra and to stimulate energy in this area. It is good for sexual and emotional health and is said to attract a compatible partner for the purpose of sexual healing. Garnet amplifies the effect of other crystals and opens an energetic pathway from the lower energy centres to the crown.
With grace and elegance the artist presented us with a myriad of crystal visions. The light seemed to be enchanted into, onto and through the crystal sphere. His control of the seemingly free flowing orb of light conjured up a crowd all of whom were transfixed by his skills. Each movement was full of purpose and poise, each action one after the other giving a yet more dazzling display.

Clear Quartz with a broken baby crystal. This was originally double terminated, but one is broken. The broken termination had multiple terminations originally. Energy moves both ways so would be great to reclaim the broken termination. It has interesting etching on multiple sides, especially two of them. It also has skeletal growth patterns. Excellent clarity. Included at the second termination with a faint phantom seen best on the side with baby crystal. The stone is dry.
The Crystal Palace stood for decades until it was destroyed by a fire in November 1936. Today, the only remainder of the Palace is its Victorian terraces, ruins of its water towers and the surviving six of the original collection of 12 sphinxes. The sculptures of the half-man, half-lions flank flights of steps on the Upper Terrace and feature cartouches and hieroglyphs on their bodies and base. The sphinxes were based on the red granite sphinx at the Louvre museum in Paris
Crystal Beach was a booming town in the 1800's and early 1900's due to a large and very successful amusement park. The park closed down in the 1980's and the town has suffered. It is a town that is full of abandoned cottages and closed-up shops. Only in the last year or so, has the area been rediscovered.
