"A word is not a crystal, transparent and unchanging, it is the skin of a living thought and may vary greatly in color and content according to the circumstances and time in which it is used."
~ Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr. (1841 - 1935) ~
About 15 minutes drive Southeast of Corona Delma, on Pacific Coast Highway, there's a beautiful jogging trails. It's the Crystal Cove State Park. The park actually continues all the way to Laguna Beach and go inland too, but it got divided at the border between Newport Beach and Laguna Beach cities.
The Crystal Palace Dinosaurs are a series of sculptures of dinosaurs and other extinct animals, incorrect by modern standards, in the London borough of Bromley's Crystal Palace Park. Commissioned in 1852 to accompany the Crystal Palace after its move from the Great Exhibition in Hyde Park, they were unveiled in 1854 as the first dinosaur sculptures in the world. The models were designed and sculpted by Benjamin Waterhouse Hawkins under the scientific direction of Sir Richard Owen, representing the latest scientific knowledge at the time. The models, also known as Dinosaur Court, were classed as Grade II listed buildings from 1973, extensively restored in 2002, and upgraded to Grade I listed in 2007.
The models represent 15 genera of extinct animals, not all dinosaurs. They are from a wide range of geological ages, and include true dinosaurs, ichthyosaurs, and plesiosaurs mainly from the Mesozoic era, and some mammals from the more recent Cenozoic era. Today, the models are notable for representing the scientific inaccuracies of early paleontology, the result of improperly reconstructed fossils and the nascent nature of the science in the 19th century, with the Iguanodon and Megalosaurus models being particularly singled out.

Crystal Creek is a picturesque creek that runs for 17.5 km, beginning just below Paluma, Queensland, flowing through the township of Mutarnee and emptying into the Coral Sea. It forms part of the Paluma Range National Park and is known for its division into two popular tourist destinations, namely Little Crystal Creek and Big Crystal Creek.
Little Crystal Creek is situated approximately two thirds of the way along Mt Spec Road, heading towards the village of Paluma. This location consists of a number of small crystal clear swimming holes and waterfalls, as well as the Little Crystal Creek Bridge, an historical arch bridge of which construction began in 1932.
Big Crystal Creek is located a few kilometres downstream from Little Crystal Creek, at the end of Spiegelhauer Road. Facilities at Big Crystal Creek also include a wheelchair accessible picnic area, barbecues, toilets, as well as a designated camping ground. The most popular of the swimming holes at Big Crystal Creek is Paradise Waterhole, which is substantially larger than that of the Little Crystal Creek waterholes, and can be accessed by a short walk from the picnic area along a bush track. Further down the road from the picnic area, the Big Crystal Creek Rockslides can be found, which is another popular swimming destination known for its natural waterslide formed by mossy rocks.
I had this first at Live Sports Cafe's last night. It was good enough that I went looking for it. I found it at the local liqour store for about 10 bucks cheaper than I could find it online.
The Crystal Serenity Cruise is well famed for it attractive packages and world-class amenities. Crystal Serenity a ship managed and administrated by Crystal Cruise line, the ship has 1,072 passengers’ accommodations.
“ALL THAT I CAN FIX” Author Crystal Chan visited Lewis and Clark Community College February 28 to speak about the path to publication, justice activism and writing compassion. “As a society, we have been taught to turn a deaf ear to one another, and when we do so we teach our children to do the same... But, listening can be transformative... It has expanded my world. Listening has allowed me to have empathy,” she said.
